Happy Indigenous Peoples Day!
Listen in as I interview Ahna Red Fox, Full Spectrum Birthworker from Shinnecock territory in Eastern Long Island. Ahna shares with us what led her to this work, her advice for Black, Brown, and Indigenous birthing persons in addition to her vision for her work and tribe. I am so grateful that Ahna enlightened us on the importance of including cultural traditions in pregnancy and birth and the importance of relearning and reclaiming one's own heritage.
