WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DOES DOULICIOUS NUTRITION TAKE?
Payments are accepted via PayPal or Zelle and are due prior to the start of each session.
WHAT IS A REGISTERED DIETITIAN?
Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs) are food and nutrition experts who have met the following criteria to earn the RDN credential:
Completed a minimum of a bachelor’s degree at a US regionally accredited university or college and course work accredited or approved by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Completed an ACEND-accredited supervised practice program at a health-care facility, community agency, or a foodservice corporation or combined with undergraduate or graduate studies. Typically, a practice program will run six to 12 months in length.
Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
Completed continuing professional educational requirements to maintain registration.
WILL MY HEALTH INSURANCE COVER REGISTERED DIETITIAN SERVICES?
Some health insurance plans may cover nutrition services. However, Doulicious Nutrition is only accepting private paying clients at this time but we will make sure to update our website if anything changes.
WHAT IS A DOULA?
A doula is a trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to a mother before, during and shortly after childbirth to help her achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible.
